EX Lifts and Equipment for the D.o.D.

MLE Explosion Proof equipment has been designed, tested and approved for Hazardous Environments. We are committed to providing quality products, training and services. Below are a few examples of where our equipment is used in this Industry.

Explosion Proof (EX) equipment is used in the manufacture, repair and rebuilding of military equipment.

Aerial lifts are used in the preparation and painting of military equipment.

Tuggers move aircraft and equipment in and out of hangars. Other explosion proof material handling equipment, like skidsteers, are used for handling and cleaning up blast media.

Aerial lifts are commonly used for refueling and in maintenance areas where fuel vapors could be ignited.

Aerial lifts, forklifts, reach trucks, cranes and other EX rated equipment are used in storage facilities and aboard ships where bombs, ammunition and other products containing highly combustible powders are being handled.

Explosion proof aerial lifts, forklifts, carts and other EX rated equipment are used in the disposal and recycling of chemical and hazardous waste. Unloading shipments containing potentially hazardous mixes of chemical waste and compounds can cause explosive reactions. Dust and powders often form a localized environment that may be potentially explosive. Other hazards include the movement and storage of drums containing hazardous materials, which may be damaged or leaking.

MLE Explosion Proof equipment has been designed, tested and certified for Class I, Div 1, Group D service.
